Sep 30: Fort Dodge Animal Health Legacy Scholarships Veterinarians are an important part of the cattle industry. But in many parts of the country there is a critical shortage of veterinarians, particularly food animal vets who want to work in rural areas. As reporter Brian Baxter found at a recent visit to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University, the financial challenges of a veterinary education are a serious challenge for students.
To help students face the financial challenges of a veterinary education Fort Dodge Animal Health awards five, $5,000 Legacy Scholarships to outstanding animal science and veterinary students. These scholarships are funded in part through purchase of Fort Dodge Animal Health products like Cydectin, Pyramid, Triangle and Synovex.
