Sep 30: Fort Dodge Animal Health Legacy Scholarships
Veterinarians are an important part of the cattle industry.  But in many parts of the country there is a critical shortage of veterinarians, particularly food animal vets who want to work in rural areas.  As reporter Brian Baxter found at a recent visit to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University, the financial challenges of a veterinary education are a serious challenge for students.

To help students face the financial challenges of a veterinary education Fort Dodge Animal Health awards five, $5,000 Legacy Scholarships to outstanding animal science and veterinary students.  These scholarships are funded in part through purchase of Fort Dodge Animal Health products like Cydectin, Pyramid, Triangle and Synovex.

To learn more about the Fort Dodge Animal Health Legacy Scholarship, how to apply and how your dollars can help support the project visit:  nationalcattlemensfoundation.org
