Mar 9: 2009 Beef Exports
Despite a weak world economy in 2009, the final tally of U.S. beef exports for last year shows some positive trends. The USDA reports that for 2009, overall U.S. beef exports were valued at just over 3 billion dollars. There was real progress made last year in opening up greater U.S. beef sales to consumers in key Asian markets such as Korea and Japan. We learn more about those efforts, in this report from Brian Baxter.
